TR Redial Artery Closure Band

The Medical TR Band is a specialized medical device designed to facilitate hemostasis (the process of stopping bleeding) after procedures that involve arterial access, such as cardiac catheterization, angiography, or other interventional radiology procedures. It is particularly used after procedures where the radial artery (in the wrist) is accessed, as this approach is becoming increasingly popular due to its lower risk of complications compared to femoral artery access.

    Product Features

    ● Maintain arterial patency through air titration.
    ● Double airbags are used for precise compression of the radial artery puncture site, reducing pressure on surrounding tissues.
    ● Transparent tape makes the puncture site visible.
    ● Circular design improves patient comfort and protects the ulnar nerve and arteries.
    ● Easy to operate, time-saving, and can dynamically observe the hemostatic effect and adjust the airbag pressure.

    Structure and material

    ● Compression Bladder (Balloon)-Transparent, inflatable polyurethane pouch for controlled radial artery pressure.
    ● Adjustable Strap-Nylon/polyester strap with Velcro for secure, customizable fit.
    ● Air Release Valve-One-way valve for gradual deflation (using a syringe).
    ● Optional Markings-Some models have pressure indicators for guided deflation.
    ● Bladder: Medical-grade polyurethane (PU) (flexible, transparent).
    ● Strap: Nylon/polyester + Velcro (latex-free, hypoallergenic).

    Instruction for use

    ● Pull the sheath out 2-3 cm after the interventional procedure.
    ● Align the green marker 1-2 mm proximal to the puncture site, with the balloon located in the thumb direction, leaving a small thumb or 2.5cc syringe space on the side of the little finger, and fixing the wrist strap.
    ● The syringe is inflated with air and the balloon is expanded (do not exceed a total of 18 ml).
    ● Pull out the sheath and make sure there is no bleeding.
    ● Observe the puncture port for bleeding and go to adjust the balloon pressure.

    Product application

    ● Cardiac Catheterization: Commonly used after radial artery access during heart-related procedures.
    ● Angiography: Used in imaging procedures that require arterial access.
    ● Interventional Radiology: Supports hemostasis after minimally invasive procedures.
